WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PROPERTY WHEN A RELATIONSHIP ENDS?
The breakdown of a marriage or a relationship is a very stressful event and often people find it can be very easy to forget to look ahead to their future. We specialise in property matters arising from Family Law events and work tirelessly to ensure that our client's are able to walk away with a brighter future ahead.
Sometimes these issues can be resolved without the need to go to Court.
This process is called making Consent Orders and often it is a much more cost effective way of resolving Property disputes arising from the break down of a marriage.
WLM Legal are able to assist in whichever course of action you choose to pursue.
WHAT ARRANGEMENTS ARE THERE FOR YOUR CHILDREN?
Divorce, or the breakdown of a relationship is a stressful time on the parties involved, but none more so than on the children who often are not able to understand exactly what is happening, and why one of the parents is no longer around the home.
The first course of action for our family lawyers is to fully investigate whether it is possible to resolve your parenting matter through consent. Consent is the quickest and most cost effective method of resolving custody disputes, however it is not always an avenue available to all clients.
If there is no real prospect of reaching consent on a matter, our family lawyers are equipped to assist in the arrangement of an Family Dispute Resolution ('FDR') session with an accredited practitioner.
FDR is a compulsory step that must be attempted prior to commencing proceedings relating to parenting matters in the Family Court of Western Australia.
It is imperative that children are the primary consideration during the breakdown of a relationship and their safety and wellbeing is our priority at WLM Legal. We work tirelessly to ensure that your children have their needs met without undue stress or delay.
SO WHY SHOULD I CHOSE WLM LEGAL?
The simple answer to this is because our client's can trust us.
